NO GOLD MINING at INDIAN PASS. This is a sacred area for the Quechan people.
Indian Pass is an important part of the traditional homeland of the Quechan Nation, and contains ancient trails, intaglios, rock alignments, sleeping circles, and other evidence of the Quechan's long history in the area. Indian Pass is a place for spiritual and cultural renewal. Our traditional way of life and our culture is at risk.
