As of this publication your Tribal Council has been working for you for forty plus days. During that time, we worked together to review, debate, confer, gained knowledge of, and came to a consensus with a variety of issues and concerns.
El Centro, Calif. — Construction crews will close a lane on westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) on the Colorado River Bridge near Yuma, AZ Monday thru Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for bridge work, according to Caltrans.
Effective Thursday, March 23, 2023, the Quechan Emergency Management office is currently transitioning, during this time you can request services by emailing d.medart@quechantribe.com or calling (928) 919-3374.
Royal Phipps, Miss Quechan 2022/2023, has tendered her letter of resignation.
The Pageant Committee is looking for a new applicant to fulfill the role as Miss Quechan.
Applications can be picked up Monday, March 27, 2023 until Monday, April 3, 2023 at the Quechan Tribal Office Administration Building.
Judging of the applicants will be announced on a later date.

El Centro, Calif. — Construction crews will close the eastbound and the westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) left lanes of the Colorado River Bridge near Yuma, AZ on Monday and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for bridge work, according to Caltrans.
Additionally, the eastbound I-8 4th Avenue on-ramp will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Quechan Social Services Assistance Program will be closed Friday, February 17, 2023 through Sunday, April 30, 2023.
No new applications will be accepted at this time. If you have any questions please contact the Social Services department at (760) 572-0201.
All Tribal Departments will be closing at 12:00 pm today, Friday, February 3, 2023, in honor of former Tribal President Lorraine E. White.
The Tribal offices will resume normal business hours on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 8:00 am.

Much colder weather is expected through the next 7 days with temperatures up to around 10°F below normal and multiple mornings with freezing lows and frosty conditions, as cold weather systems drop down through the region. Stay warm.

A series of storm systems will bring an increased threat of light rainfall and cooler conditions the next few days. The first storm system may also result in windy conditions across southeastern California Saturday.
Road closure at Baseline Road and San Pasquale Drive
Wednesday, January 04, 2023.
Please use alternate route.
Previous road closure couldn’t get finished due to weather conditions.
Road will be Fog-sealed and will need to cure before its accessible again.
On Monday, January 9, 2023, work on San Pasqual Drive will commence.
A series of road improvements will be performed.
