The construction of the Water Treatment Plant continues progressing smoothly, with key milestones being met on schedule. The groundwork and site preparation have been completed, and the drying beds concrete curing is processing.

Essential infrastructure, including the installation of underground water lines for supply, intake and distribution of water are being installed. Foundation for the filtration systems and vessels has been poured, and final details are in progress.
Key equipment for filtration, chemical treatment, and disinfection processes is being manufactured as the location of the vessels are being secured.

The foundation of the Operation and Maintenance Building is currently being installed.

The contractor Pacific Hydrotech is focused on adhering to strict quality control measures and environmental guidelines, ensuring the plant will be ready to provide clean and safe drinking water upon completion.

EDA as the project manager and in coordination with Public Works and IHS is currently supervising and managing the project making sure that is compliant and all the required measures are followed to deliver this project in a timely manner.
