The Quechan Indian Tribe 2022 School Covid-19 Readiness Assistance Program is Open to Parents/Legal Guardians of Enrolled Quechan Tribal Members only (3-18 year olds).

The 2022 School Covid-19 Readiness Program has been developed to assist school age children (Headstart:-12th Grade) during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

This assistance is to purchase items to prepare the Student for Distance Learning online or those attending school on campus. Items such as; Clothing, Education supplies, Electronic Items, Cleaning Supplies, Food for Student, Utilities, personal hygiene and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The custodial parent must complete the application. If the applicant is not the custodial parent, documentation in the form of a Legal Custody Order or Guardianship Order through a court must accompany the application. All documents must be current. Notarized statements are NOT accepted. 

Enrollment will be verified by the Revenue Distribution Office by a certified list provided by the Enrollment Department. 

The approved amount by the Quechan Tribal Council is $950.00 per child. The child must be registered and verified by the School Registrar that they will be either attending school on campus or distance learning online. 

Beginning Date: July 18, 2022 @ 8:00 a.m. (applications will be available on 7/18/22)

Ending Date: September 09, 2022 @ 5:00 p.m.

Processing: up to 10 business days

Receipts Due: September 30, 2022

Drop Off: A drop off box will be available outside of the Quechan Tribal Administration building.
