No weather impacts today with dry weather continuing and above normal temperatures with highs in the low 70s across the lower deserts.
A stronger weather system will likely bring breezy to locally windy conditions Tuesday and Wednesday along with some precipitation chances, especially across the AZ high terrain.
Temperatures cool down to near to slightly below normal levels by mid week and continue through the weekend, with low temperatures in some of the colder rural areas dipping down to near to below freezing.
CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS BRIEFING
• Increased the wind risk from Minor to Moderate for Southeast CA and Joshua Tree National Park on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Added blowing dust to Southeast CA on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Added light rain showers to the Phoenix Metro and NW Pinal County for Tuesday and Wednesday.
