Prolonged Extreme Heat Continues | Increased AZ Higher Terrain Storm Chances Starting Thursday

An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect through 8 PM MST/PDT on Thursday, July 11th for the AZ lower deserts and southeastern CA.
Widespread Major and localized Extreme HeatRisk continue through Friday.
Overall mostly clear skies and dry conditions will prevail through the middle of this week.
Increase in thunderstorm activity for the latter half of this week in AZ high terrain, with slight chance (20%) in Gila County by Thursday.
