Excessive Heat Warning areawide today and across Lower CO River Valley and southeast CA on Tuesday
Strong to severe storms possible on Tuesday mainly across south-central AZ. Areas of blowing dust will likely extend through southwest AZ Tuesday evening.
Chances for thunderstorms will gradually decrease during the latter half of the week, eventually focused mainly over high terrain areas of Arizona by Thursday or Friday.
Near normal temperatures expected for Wednesday and Thursday before heating back up into next weekend.

Thunderstorm chances will become focused over the Arizona high terrain through the middle of the week.
