The construction of the Water Treatment Plant continues progressing smoothly, with key milestones being met on schedule. Since the last update on 03/28/2025, the contractor Pacific Hydrotech has continued to install the water lines that will distribute well water throughout the Water Treatment Plant, creating an intricate network of distribution lines underground. Several vaults were installed at certain points along the water lines and will eventually contain control valves and pumps. Pacific Hydrotech also installed the two large filter vessels that will treat the well water and began connecting the new filters to the water system. Each vessel is custom fabricated from steel and stands about 8 feet tall by 15 feet long.
The concrete pad has been poured for the Operations and Maintenance building that will house the different electronic elements to control all the system that will run the water treatment plant. Concrete masonry block is being installed to form the perimeter walls of the building. The contractor also poured the concrete pad for the main generator that will power this Water Plant in case of an emergency and continued installing underground conduits.
The contractor Pacific Hydrotech is focused on adhering to strict quality control measures and environmental guidelines, ensuring the plant will be ready to provide clean and safe drinking water upon completion.
